What To Expect The Day Of

"Your tattoo experience should feel calm, respectful, and well prepared. Here’s how to get the most out of your appointment."

Respect For The Process

Tattooing is one of the oldest artistic traditions in human history.

Across cultures and centuries, tattoos have marked transformation, healing, identity, and personal milestones. When approached with intention and care, the process can be deeply meaningful.

Every tattoo begins with a story. Whether your design represents something sacred, symbolic, or simply something you love, we treat that idea with respect and attention. Our goal is to create something that truly honors what brought you here.

We take the time to understand your vision and guide you through the process so the final piece feels authentic to you. From the moment you walk in, our focus is making the experience calm, comfortable, and handled with care.

Below are a few simple things that help make the day go smoothly.

Eat Before Your Appointment

Please arrive having eaten a good meal.

Tattooing can take time, and your body handles the process much better when your blood sugar is stable. A solid meal beforehand helps prevent lightheadedness and keeps you comfortable during longer sessions.

You are welcome to bring snacks or drinks with you. If your session runs long, food delivery services like Uber Eats are also welcome to deliver to the studio, so feel free to order something if you need a break and a bite to eat.

Avoid Alcohol Before Your Tattoo

Please avoid drinking alcohol the night before and the day of your appointment.

Alcohol thins the blood and can increase bleeding during the tattoo process. This can make tattooing more difficult and affect how the ink settles in the skin. Arriving clear headed helps ensure the best possible result.

Get a Good Night of Rest

Being well rested makes a big difference in how comfortable you feel during your session.

Tattooing asks a lot from your body. When you are rested and relaxed, your body handles the process better and the experience is typically smoother overall.

Plan Your Clothing

Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

Dark clothing is recommended whenever possible. Occasionally a small amount of ink can transfer during the process, and darker fabrics help prevent staining.

Loose, comfortable clothing helps both you and the artist move easily during the session.

Shaving the Area

If you are comfortable doing so, shaving the area beforehand can make the process easier.

Many clients prefer to shave at home where they can take their time and avoid irritation. If you would rather not, no problem at all. We are fully prepared to take care of that for you before we begin.

Optional Comfort Add-Ons

For clients who would like a little extra, we offer a few optional add-ons.
